There are many techniques and methodologies for quieting the mind and the benefits of incorporating meditation in our daily lives are widely known. There is also the lesser known practice of meditating for the purposes of enlightening the mind. In this talk, Rebecca illustrates the differences, and touches on the importance of cultivating soul-seeded consciousness, developing a meditative mind (bringing meditative states into our waking moments) and living a contemplative lifestyle when self-realisation (at any stage of the enlightenment process) is the goal.
